I found it very hard to push the hook through the hole so could attach to the frame. I soaked the bottom of the hook ridge in warm water for about fifteen minutes then applied pressure. I was nervous it could break. I don't see why this can't be assembled before packaging then sent to customer. They do save space but only good I feel for lightweight clothes I would buy again.
